Horse Float:

Chassis material - Galvanised, Frame Material - Galvanised, Body panel - Aluminium, Wheel Rims - 4 x 14' Mag, Wheels, Spare 14' Mag Wheel under Lock and key, 2 x 50mm solid Axles, Roll Rocker Tandem Suspension 7 springs, Double Axle Electric Brakes, Breakaway System Fitted to Float (Independent braking system that activates itself when float becomes detached from towing vehicle).

We also make our floats partially aluminium - the frame and chassis are still steel for strength and flexibility, but the outside sheeting / cladding is aluminium, thicker aluminium and same strength as steel and still corrugated for strength where the horses are. By having the sheeting aluminium, we are lessening the weight and also eliminating rust forever as aluminium does not rust. Basically, everything that is non-structural is now aluminium. Plus, the benefit for the horses is that it is actually cooler inside the float than your standard steel float. Steel absorbs heat and retains it so it stays hot for a long time BUT aluminium dissipates heat and leaving the float walls cool to touch which in turn makes it cool inside the float. Its a win for both humans and horses so to speak.

Enclosed Side Rug Rack, Swing out Tack Box fully lined with 2 saddle racks and bridle hooks. 

Horse Float Paint Work: Painted with 2 pack paint. White as standard with black trim around windows, side door, barn doors and black and aluminium trim around roof join on float.

Horse Float Lighting:
2 sets of Rear LED Lights per side - 2 x Brake Lights,2 x Amber Indicator lights and one Reverse Light, 6 Side Amber Lights, 8 Retro Reflectors. Internal 12v LED lights - one above front entry door and 2nd at rear of float for nighttime loading.

Horse Float Flooring:
None slip rubber floor matting.... fully sealed and waterproof, none slip rubber matting for ramp door with extra footing support with moulded horizontal slats/panels down the tailgate, Rubber matting on side wall panels to kick board and paw board.

Horse Float Reinforced Chassis:

We install a safety feature in the float so that no horses can ever go through the float floor.

A 4mm thick aluminium plate /sheet gets installed in the chassis. How the aluminium sheet works is it guarantees that your horses will never go through the floor of your float. First you have the already reinforced chassis which we use square tubing not angle bar across the width of the float along whole length of the float at 500mm apart ,then the 4mm aluminium plate and then the 22mm honeycomb and then the non-slip rubber and that is all glued down so that the floor becomes waterproof and you can wash the float out - the more the better.

This is now a super strong floor guaranteed that your horses will never go through the floor of a Gladiator Float!

Measurements are taken from the middle of the front bay to the middle of the back bay.
