Chassis Material:
Galvanised, Frame Material - Galvanised, Body panel - Aluminium, Wheel Rims - 4 x 14' Mag Wheels or sunraysia, Plus Spare 14' Mag Wheel under Lock and key.

2 x 50mm Solid Axles, Roll Rocker Tandem Suspension 7 springs, Double Axle Electric Brakes, Breakaway System Fitted to Float ( Independent braking system that activates itself when float becomes detached from towing vehicle), 2 Big Square Sliding Windows at horses heads and 3 oblong windows all Tinted and with fly screens, 4 Pop Up Vents approx.400mm x 250mm.

Pop Up Barn Doors with high intensity anti rust struts and special copper hinges, Optional extra - Swing Open to side Barn Doors, Ramp Door fitted with high intensity anti rust struts, Draw bar filled in with Checker Plate, Mudguard covered with Checker Plate, Filled in Checker Plate on Rear Light Panels, 2 Draw bar Safety Chains, Fully Padded Dividers and Rump pad and 4 Stainless Steel recessed tie up rings on the outside of the float.

We also make our floats partially aluminium - the frame and chassis are still steel for strength and flexibility, but the outside sheeting/cladding is aluminium, thicker aluminium and same strength as steel and still corrugated for strength where the horses are. By having the sheeting aluminium  we are lessoning the weight and also eliminating rust forever as aluminium does not rust. Basically, everything that is non structural is now aluminium.

Plus, the benefit for the horses is that it is actually cooler inside than your standard steel float. Steel absorbs heat and retains it so it stays hot for longer time BUT aluminium dissipates heat leaving the float walls cool to touch which in return makes it cooler inside the float. Ot's a win for both humans and horses so to speak.

Lighting:
Rear LED Lights, 6 Side Amber Lights, 8 Retro Reflectors. Internal 12v LED lights - one above entry door and one at rear of float for night time loading.

Horse Float Reinforced Chassis / Flooring:

We install a safety feature in all our floats so that no horses can ever go through the float floor.

A 4 mm thick aluminium plate/sheet gets installed on top of the chassis.

How the aluminium plate works is that it guarantees that your horses will never go through the floor of your float.

First you have already the reinforced chassis which we use square tubing , not angle bar, across the width of the float along the whole length of the float at 500mm apart. Then we use angle bar lengthways to brace everything together just like a chessboard. Then we place the 4mm thick aluminium plate on top of the chassis and the 22mm honeycomb flooring and the non-slip rubber and this then gets all glued down so that the float is waterproof and you can wash it out the more the better. The layering of the different materials also can help eliminate road noise.

This is now a super strong floor guaranteed that your horses will never go through the floor of a Gladiator Float!

We use the non-slip rubber also on the tailgate /ramp door which has moulded horizontal cleats down the tailgate for extra support for the horse walking up and down the tailgate. Same nonslip rubber is also used for the kickboard and paw board.

Horse Float:
Fully Enclosed Side Rug Rack, Swing out Tack Box fully lined with 2 saddle racks and bridle hooks.

Horse Float Paint Work: Painted with 2 pack  - White as standard with black trim around windows, side door, barn doors and black and aluminium trim around top side of float.
